About VIGO:
VIGO is a unique crossover combining some of the best features of a pontoon boat, cabin cruiser, houseboat and RV camper.
It is designed for people who want to explore the water without giving up the comforts normally associated with a cottage or RV.
VIGO is more than transportation.
It becomes your private space for cruising, relaxing, cooking, fishing, sleeping and enjoying life on the water.
Traditional pontoons are primarily designed for daytime cruising and entertainment.
VIGO takes the concept much further by adding a purpose-designed enclosed cabin, sleeping accommodations, kitchen, private washroom and other systems for extended cruising and overnight living.
Use it for an afternoon cruise, a fishing trip, a weekend getaway or a multi-day adventure.
The VIGO concept was created in 2024 by Andrey Grebennikov, a Canadian boat designer, manufacturer and long-time marine industry professional behind GMI MARINE, established in 2001.
The first VIGO prototype was designed, built and tested in Ontario, Canada in 2024. The VIGO production facility was established and limited production began in 2025.
VIGO is a young and innovative project, it is backed by more than two decades of Canadian marine-industry experience.
